About the School of Surgery

Postgraduate surgical training is undertaken in an increasingly finite time. The number of hours a newly appointed surgeon will train today has fallen by 80% over that last 10 years. With such time constraints, every moment has to be utilized as an opportunity for learning.

The core philosophy of the School of Surgery is to deliver the highest standard of care to our patients. Central to this is continued medical education. This site delivers links to the best resources on the world-wide web to provide the non-technical facets to be a surgeon.
